There is no definitive age for kids to start to learn (ours were around two when they started) and you might need a little bit of practice to get started but helping your child play with chopsticks can be fun with these easy steps
 How to hold training chopsticks
- Encourage your child to hold the top chopstick like a pencil around a third away from its top
- Place the second chopstick against your ring finger holding it with the base of your thumb so it serves as an anchor using the rings as a guide
- Practice moving the top stick up and down using the thumb and index finger until your child gets the hang of it moving the upper chopstick with your index and middle fingers.
- Start practising picking up larger food items and as they get the hang of and then move onto smaller pieces.
